Truncated Domes
Truncated domes are an ADA requirement at curb cut ramps and where a walkway meets a vehicular way. There are various styles of truncated domes.
1. Cast in place truncated domes: these are set in wet concrete and leave the domes flush with the surrounding concrete
2. Surface Mount Truncated domes: There are bolt down/glue, and there are also self adhesive surface mount truncated domes.
3. Concrete paver truncated domes: These are usually 1'x1' in size and installed in the same way a concrete paving stone would be installed.
